AP chem is valuable, if you get a 5 that is the first full year of intro chem, one of the biggest gpa killers out there.
AP physics is worthless, unless you are going soft
option (re: not engineering). The C test is useful though.
AP calc takes off 124 (and 125 w/ a 5), BC takes off 125 if you get a 4 or higher.
AP stat is utterly worthless.
AP history and social tests can take off I&S credits, which kinda sucks since you only get 10 of those, and they are usually interesting and gpa boosters.
AP art classes would be clutch since VLPA classes are gay and you need 10 credits
of it. Easy A, but a gay A.
AP language could be useful, I wouldent know real majors don't require it.
That said, 90 to move up in the pecking order isn't that bad. But spending a year or two and then coming to UW would have been a better plan. From what I have seen you will get an equaly good education, if not better, at a much better price.
Regardless, the first thing you want to do is talk to the advisor of your chosen major. Get buddy buddy with them, as they can make your life much easier. The general, and college level advisors are worthless. I had a college of enginerding advisor sign off on a graduation plan that did not actually meat the necesary requirements. The dept. Advisors know what they are doing though.
And don't plan on graduating in 4 years, unless you have stacked transfer credits. I have 105 credits right now and not all of my pre reqs are done.
I am an AA major with math and military science minors. ( hopeing for that AA major) I take 17-18 credits a quarter. I don't believe in free time either. A business major would be easy, a poly sci major would be a cake walk.
Basically if you are premed, nursing, enginerding or arch, your life is gonna be very different from highschool, but it's worth it in the end to have a rewarding job that pays well (cept arch. They still hit up the unemployment line).
