Mike Wilson on the Gap

I dont know if this has been brought up by anbody already, but did you know Mike Wilson tried a 180 foot gap that they built for him on buttermilk? He couldnt get enought speed even thought theysalted the inrun and gave him a tow in, he made it approximatly 150 feet, and it was bad. They even put the sequence in the Aspen Daily News. When I saw the gap beng built last week, I thought they were just building two huge tables, but then it turns out it was a huge fucking gap. Mike was complaining of leg and ankle pains after he came up short. That sucks.

I was just talking to wilson on the phone and he said that the article was wrong and he actually landing the quad back flip, but as he was skiing away from the jump he lost controll and slammed into the chairlift tower and he hurt both his legs so bad, they had to amputate them both. So wilson can't ski anymore, until I go over there and help him glue his legs back on.
