There is no difference between the 08/09 and the 09/10 except the topsheet, however, between the 09/10 and the 10/11, they made it a bit more rigid underfoot, moved the butter-zones, and most importantly (and noticeable) is the addition of the Cap-Sidewall Construction, where there is a sidewall underfoot and cap construction on the rest of the ski, this will make the ski lighter and more durable, but still allow it to have the carve and edge hold of a sidewall ski.
I have 09 Thalls and they are the best park ski I have ridden. Super poppy light still buttery in the nose but stiff on the tail to hold landings well. And I think the only difference between this years and last is underfoot is about 2mm wider. If you can get 09 do it. Only complian is topsheets chip hard, but that doesnt really affect performance
Most of us can't really tell you cause the 10/11 are so different from the 09/10 and not many people on this site have ridden them. All I can tell you is that I have this years skis and they fucking rock, you can't go wrong with them.
