I can't believe I went to Park City.

Ever since I started freestyle skiing it has been my dream to go to Park City.  I have always watched every single park city edit on newschoolers just because I always thought it looked like an awesome place.

Well during our school ski trip this year in February, I had the opportunity to ski at Park City for half a day because of some deal with the airline.  It was by far the best experience of my life and I've never had so much fun.  The amount of features blew my mind.  Above all what amazed me most was the whole atmosphere.  It's hard to describe, but every person skiing there really wanted to be there and was having a great time.  There were just good vibes everywhere.  Every skier there was super nice and it seemed as if everyone was so good!  I will always want to return to Park City again, and I really hope that someday I do.

You may be wondering "Why would you need to make a thread on this?"  Well, my answer is that I just had to express my thoughts and thankfulness to be able to ski at a place as amazing as Park City and it was a dream come true for me.

Has anyone else had an experience similar to this?  If so please share.

i fell ya. when i was little i always thought park city was some magical place because it had 3 amazing parks whereas my mountain had one small, shitty park that skiers weren't allowed to enter. now that i ski there, its tight but not as magical.

Havn't been there, but I also really want to go there. sounds like an amazing place, I live in steamboat and we have a pretty shitty park, and the best park i've been to is at Keystone. I'm sure PC's park is dope.

First time i got on the whistler glacier was the best time of my life. so great.for all those people who go to camp thinking they are going to learn stuff and get really good. At camp you have way to much fun and when everyone is having a good time and the coaches are sooo chill everything just comes to you and its sooo easy to progress because of the atmosphere.

dude, almost the exact same for me. ever since i started skiing, for our big trip of the year me and my dad would always just drive up north (i live in missouri) to wisconsin or iowa and ski at a resort like that for a few days because my dad couldnt afford to do a big trip anywhere out west. well i met a kid on my swim team, and somehow we got talking about skiing a bunch at a meet because there is a ton of downtime between events. i found out he had a house out in park city, and he really wanted to take me with him for a week. well it was around october at the time, and i didnt really think he actually would but our parents talked it out and we decided to go over spring break. it was so amazing after not skiing anything over a couple hundred vertical, i got to ski a little bit of powder for the first time, as well as tons of other stuff. and the park amazed me as well, it was so long and well built compared to what i was used to. it was a great experience for sure.

unfortunately when i went to utah last month we got there late on the first day and we were planning to go for a half day at pc, but unfortunately were only able to night ski..
but i know what you mean. my whole experience at utah was amazing, i wish i could be back there.

Yeah men thats sick. I come from the east so for me going to a big park like breck, keystone or park city has always been a dream of mine. This year, my dad had to go to Colorado for his work and got to choose when to go during the winter. He decided to go in January when I did not have school so as a gift he brought me and a friend. Skiing keystone for a day was unreal its like an other world from the east coast. I know exactly what you are talking about and when thinking about it, I always get stoked. I can't wait to be able to go back.

yah. i ski in west virginia, and when i went to vail... it was unreal. its so big, so beautiful. it completely blew my mind. i really, really want to get out there

thats dope man. I went to northstar a couple of years ago the same way. I was just soo stoked and it was an amazing experience after having seen it in some ski movies... Anyway this makes me stoked to try go to PC next year.

I remember my first trip to PC too, SO fun i was loving it, visited the next year again and it was amazing. Now i live here and still love park city.

My first time to PC was this year and it was sick. It was mid-december and terrible weather, but i still loved it. i only got to ski a few runs and pick and shovel. would love to be able to explore the whole mountain
