This year I skied my afterbangs for park all year and had a pair of icelantic nomad sft for pow days. I'm just wondering if the new blends with the slight rocker would be a good one ski quiver for pow park and all mountain?? I'm 5'5 135 if that helps and I like to do rails and get into the BC when I can. Any other ski suggestions for a pow and park ski?
+k
thats a good choice. tthey were testing them in the park category for freeskier. also skis to check out- k2 kung fujas( wider next year so i lot like the blend but they have tail rocker to.) atomic blogs, coax, or line sir francis bacons. if you check out sia 3 you can get a more detailed description of these
Sorry about that repost thenn. Are the blends more park oriented or are they a more all mountain ski that is good in park and has the slight rocker for pow skiing?
Dude the Blends do everything amazingly! perfect one quiver all-around park ski, we the early rise we added to it for next year, it is perfect! the Bacon does have a bit more early rise, but nothing like what the EP has. The Bacon is Amazing for next year, can't go wrong either way or both! just depends on what ones you want!!
i have this years and they kill it everywhere. i use mine mainly in the park but when i do go out and ski trees and powder they are super fun and still charge hard. i find the only durability problem with them is that the top sheet chips really easily which is a problem when hitting rails. but the top sheet doesnt really matter when it comes to performance so ya. and with the early rise they will be even better. they are supposed to be a tad bit softer to which will be nice.
They are not symmetrical. You can mount them forward of factory if you want, but I wouldn't go true center especially if you're planning on going outside of the park quite a bit.
