Center mounting Question

I searched and found bunch of stuff but mainly questions if they should mount center.
Anyway, this was my first year of park and I'm riding Rossi S3s mounted about 2cm back or so.
I am undecided if I were to get a fully-symmetrical ski id I would center mount. I find it very easy to link edge being a bit so one side of a box/rail and ceter mount just seems like linking would be harder. i know sliding rails would be easier center mount but linking edge? Am I right or wrong?

Ya I get that, but thats the thing...I like the skis but possibly not the center mount...

im no pro on ski technology, but i think mounting a symmetrical ski anywhere but center is a bad idea

I mean is center-mount better for linking edges and shit...

Center mounting is nothing but awesome when you are in the park.  As for turning, it shouldn't be a problem, you can easily manipulate a center mounted ski to get you pointed in the right direction.

I am no expert on the subject, but obviously a centered park ski will not turn as great as a GS ski.  However, the center-mounted skis sidecut design is made specifically for...center mount, and it definitely won't fight you in a turn.

The only drawback to a centered ski is horrible powder performance.

yup, most of the times, although, some people like center mounted skis, for example bibby, because it offers more tail to land on off drops. If your a good enough skier, you can really ski anything with any ski, it may not be fun in some cases, for example invaders + powder is doable if you can disable the self destruct mechanism that automatically goes off whence over 2 inches of snow is happened upon. But its really your preference and how good of a skier you are but in 80% of all cases of powder skis, i recommend mounting back a little.

I got my Dead Money's center mounted (not a true twin) and I didn't see a drop in performance at all, i found it easier to spin, and for some reason even bumps seemed easier. 

What do you mean by locking on an edge? Like to start a pretzel on a box?

I'm pretty sure all of Nordica's skis are true twins. I think you mean symmetrical.

I have skied my invaders in pow, I got around alright. I like the feel of center mount on everything, more tail is much better in my opinion.

There is only one mounting point that a ski is made for. If you see like 3 on a pair its because they want to sell more. Center mount is the only mounting point for a symmetrical ski.

Linking turns and skiing pow with a center mount isn't that hard if you give yourself a day or two to get used to the skis. Mounting a center mount ski anywhere but center is silly.

Yes like to link your edge for spinning off boxes and rails. This is my main question. I don't care how the ski is in pow or carving...

im pretty confused as to what you mean by linking your edge on boxes and rails, but using your edges on em and gripping shouldn't be any harder with a center mounted ski...

linking edge means gripping or scissoring your skis on the edge of a box for spinning off it. like you link edge to pretzel

no gripping the box does not get harder with a center mounted ski infact it gets easier because you have the same amount of tip and tail to grip with which gives you a nice feeling of consitancy bottom line if you are going to be riding mainly park mount center you wont regret it

I took a trip to Alta this January, it fell on the week they got 7 feet of snow and being a park skier from the ice coast all I had were my anthems (93mm symmetrical ski) and they were great, case and point... You can all mountain ski just fine with a symmetrical ski and park skiing is a thousand times more fun.

this... if the ski is symmetrical the flex pattern and side cut will perform BEST if mounted center.

It's my first year in park, do you guys think I should mount my 08/09 Suspects at center mount. I know they aren't fully symmetrical so that's why I am curious.
