I dropped by the ECE capstone demos at CU boulder today. the coolest project was this beer pong table.
features:
1) sign in using the keyboard (instead of a whiteboard on the fridge or something) and subscribe to the twitter account and it sends you a text message when your team is up
2) the lights under the cups will show available rerack options when you press a button
3) use one of your reracks to randomly scramble the other teams cups (thats what they are doing in the video when it is blinking)
4) counts the cups and shows the score using IR sensors
5) connect your ipod and the color organ in the center does its thing to the music.
6) trash talk buttons that doing things like play "nah nah nah nah hey hey hey good bye" when you win and a few others
7) did i mention that the fucking table texts you when its your turn?
8) it keeps tracks of winning streaks and various stats
9) more stuff that i cant remember off the top of my head
