Dark Knight question

In the Dark Knight, when Bruce has the crazy cell phone sonar machine, and asks Lucius to use it, does Lucius resign, or stay?

Our friends got in an argument about whether he retires or not. The question isn't about if he will be in the next movie(s), it's about whether or not, at the end of the movie, Lucius has resigned.

no he didnt resign.  he was going to but then bruce told him that after the mission he would destroy the machine by logging off.

not resigned. he makes some comment about "as long as a machine like this is in wayne enterprises, I won't work here" then bruce tells him to say his name when he is done..and it self-destructs.  soo since that technology is no longer in the corp, he'll work there...     that's my take on it
