No, they aren't underrated, just old. Seriously does no one else care that their park ski has not changed dimensions or flex in 5 years? In '05 they came out with the 116-84-whatever shape with the same mid soft flex. When someone says they have next year's S4s I laugh becuase you can get the same ski with the police tape graphic for like $50
When you grow up to become a man you will realize how great the sc 112 198cm's were, most manly ski ever thusly the best ski rossi has ever made, a close second is the 195 s7
have you ever skied the caution tape ones? those things were much stiffer new than the current S4 is, by far. they softened them up a bit for the following year, and now they're pretty fun.
caution tape ones are definitely softer than the following years scatches (white ones) i ski both. Looking to get the s5's from tramdock if the price is right.
It was actually 06 and why fix something that isn't broken? The s4/ ghetto/ scratch fs is one of the best park skis ever made, which is why it hasn't changed. Sure, I would love to see a new, symmetrical slightly wider park ski from Rossi. Also, the S5/ bs hasn't changed either because it is another one of the best skis every made. Have you ever ridden the S5? It is a sick ski.
Yes they are "old", which means they have been making skis for a long time. Therefore tons of experience has been gained, allowing them to construct bad ass skis.
