It is horribly over-priced

They've got a secret menu, but I can't remember any of the names...  One of them is really good though

never heard of it, googled it, there is not one in a 50 mile radius from my house

I live in Connecticut and we have a place called Robeks but i've had Jamba juice before on a vacation and i just got a bunch of different ones, i don't really remember the names but if you like the ingredients in it just get it because they are all real good or be a badass and choose a random one. It's kind of hard to go wrong.

Dear What.cd, I hate paying for things. I know you do as well. Therefore, here are the recipes for Jamba Juice smoothies, enjoy not paying for them any more.

First you will need to know that a scoop is about 3 ounces and the ice scoop is 2 oz.

1 ice cube = 1 oz.

Some other general smoothie info:
If the smoothie is proper consistency, it should form a mound in the middle of the cup. Smoothies are best enjoyed with straws if the consistency of the smoothie is correct. Before blending the smoothie, you should perform the "CHA". This is a single, firm shake of the blender. This helps gets everything in the blender mixed and helps the blending process (avoids air bubbles, ect). I believe the term "CHA" came from the sound the ice should make when you shake the blender. If air bubbles for while blending, your smoothie is likely too thick (too much frozen fruit or ice), not a big deal. Just take it off and shake out the air bubbles.

12oz Unsweatened Lemonade
2 scoops Lime Sherbet
2 Scoops Frozen Strawberries
1 Scoop Frozen Peaches
1 Ice

Strawberries Wild:
12oz Apple Strawberry Juice
2 Scoops Frozen Yogurt
2 Scoops Frozen Strawberries
1 Scoop Frozen Bananas
1 Ice

Aloha Pineapple:
10oz Pineapple Juice
1 small scoop (2oz) Vanilla Low Fat Yogurt
2 scoops Pineapple Sherbet
2 scoops frozen strawberries
1 scoop frozen bananas
1 Ice

Carribean Passion
12oz Passion Fruit Mango Juice
2 Scoops Orange Sherbet
2 Scoops Frozen Strawberries
1 Scoop Frozen Peaches

6oz Peach Cocktail Juice
4oz Soymilk
1 Scoop of Raspberry, Orange, Lime, and Pineapple Sherbets
1 Scoop Mangos
2 Scoops Ice

(Replace Peach juice with raspberry juice and mangoes with strawberries for the Red Gummy Bear)

Pink Starburst:
6oz Raspberry Juice
4oz Soymilk
2 Scoops Vanilla Frozen Yogurt
1 Scoop Raspberry Sherbet
1 Scoop Plain White Sorbet
2 Scoops Frozen Strawberries
1 Scoop Ice

Chunky Strawberry 16oz recipe:(breakfast item made in a more heavy duty blender.)
4oz Soymilk
1 small (2oz) Scoop plain non fat yogurt
1 scoop delicious almond granola
1 scoop peanut butter (the peanut butter scooper is 1/2 oz i think)
2 small scoops of strawberries
2 small scoops of bananas
Blend with pulses, not consistently running the blade

spatula into a cup then cut half a banana into slices and put on top.

Fruity Pebbles:
10oz Pomegranate Juice
2oz Soymilk
1 Scoop Orange Sherbet
1 scoop Raspberry Sherbet
1 Scoop Frozen Raspberries
1 Scoop Frozen Blueberries
1 Ice

Coconut Pineapple:
12oz Pineapple Juice
2 Scoops Frozen Yogurt
2 Scoops Pineapple Sherbet
1 scoop bananas
1 scoop ice
optional coconut to taste

8oz Chocolate Moo'd Base (A melted chocolate shake, substituting chocolate milk works)

They are technically national but don't have a huge presence on the East Coast even in the big cities. I'm in DC and there isn't a single one.

jamba juice is my shit. its a bit pricey but it is so damn good. i wish there was one in my town. they are all over NYC though.
