Replying to Are there any big cities that are reasonably close to good skiing?

For the purpose of this discussion lets say that:

Big city = Either >1,500,000 in the city OR >5,000,000 in the metropolitan area.

and that:

Reasonably close = Either <2hrs by car OR <3hrs by public transit

and that:

Good skiing = Steep terrain AND Lots of Natural Snow.

I could only come up with Santiago, can anybody think of anyplace else
