Out of these options for the frame grab the glory, the 2010 frame is really sick. Second would be a wilson, third an iron horse because they are out of business and finding parts for them isnt the easiest anymore. May I also suggest looking at the session 88 as it is optimally gangster.
Atlas components are really sick
x.9 is dope as well
Grab avid elixer CRs, dont go with hayes
DHX 5.0 will serve you well
Boxxer world cup is the titties as we discussed ahah
go with the boxxer
I just got a session a few weeks ago but the morewoods are sweet. Basically any downhill bike that you buy new with good parts on it and that is expensive will most likely be good (there are exceptions, morewood is not one of them)
Big Hits I really dislike. The frame is heavy and cumbersome, and I really don't like the compression rate from the rear end. The 09 Model is slightly better than the previous models, but I'd still avoid it
The SX Trail is really nice. The first DH bike my brother bought was an SX Trail II with Triple 8 WCs, and it was really nice and playful, not too stiff, with a fairly low BB so it's very stable.
Giant Glorys I'm not a massive fan of either. I found it to be quite rear-heavy, and quite unstable in the air, although it has a very low centre of mass and corners really nicely.
Iron Horse Sunday is nice, I'm a big fan of the DW Link, gives really nice controlled compression, and stabilises the rear end nicely
If you want to run the Bottlerocket as a DH bike, then best to get a Blindside, or even a TR450. Fitting a triple crown fork to the Bottlerocket really throws the geometry out and the uneven shock absoprtion from the front and rear take some getting used to.
Also, as someone said above, finding parts for Iron Horse is a major issues. The mech hanger on my friend's Yakuza snapped, and we ended up having to buy a Giant hanger, and file it to shape.
