Stolen goods

A couple of weeks ago I took off from my house with cash and pro camera secretly stashed away in my room and came back to closet and dresser run-through missing money and camera. I realize that I just got bitch-slapped by reality, but never in a million years living in Mammoth with friends would I assume someone would go into my room go through my belongings and take my things. Thankfully I had my lap top with me so that wasn't gone too. Lesson learned, if you're living with any other person who isn't family (and sometimes even with family I suppose) take everything valuable with you when you go away. Not saying my any of my roommates were the culprits (one of them had his camera stolen as well - nice digital his gf bought him for Christmas) but guests who were staying at the house by invite of roommates/people who have put stock into the house. I'm still VERY pissed off and VERY sad. I hope the guy/girl who took my sh!t breaks his/her leg... or gets hit by a bus.

that sucks. I've had bikes stolen on two different occasions and its the worst feeling on earth.

on the bright side though, you might run into whoever stole it, and then get to chase them down over several blocks in the middle of the day wielding a golf club, but thats neither here nor there.

file a police report, that way if the stuff shows up on craigslist or in a pawn shop or something, you have the file ready to show any cop that shows up.

Filed the police report. Shitty thing is though that we have guests who come up from LA, so almost 100% positive it was one of those so the cash is gone and the camera is probably in a pawn shop somewhere.

And yet I left my Macbook pro, I phone, oakley's, gucci sunglasses on the font seat of my car and about $1000 worth of more stuff in my trunk, with my car unlocked and windows rolled down for about 4 hours on saturday in the Village parking lot.

Sorry friend, didn't know your camera was stolen. On the plus side, the rest of your life rocks right now and you will be able to afford a camera in no time. Just rent a camera for a weekend and do like 2 wedding shoots and you can buy a new one.
