Head Mojo 15 vs Peak 15

I've heard a ton of great things about the Mojos, but whats the difference between the two? Vertical release? Toe movement?

I'm 100 percent park rider.

They are the EXACT same binding - both made from the same mold (Tyrolia), Head just re-banded them. Go with whichever is cheaper.

Since this thread is already made i'm donna ask my question about them now: Are they a good binding for powder skis? I am probably going to get JJs next winter and I was thinking about getting mojo 15s cause they are not too expensive and pretty light. I have mojo 12 on my t-halls and I love them but are they going to be good binding for powder skis? Thanks

Depending on the year, the Mojo 15 has the "pivot" heal, for lack of a better term. The newest Peak 15 does not. The Mojo 15 with that heal does have a tendency to prerelease whereas the Peak 15 does not. Check the heals and get whichever does NOT have the "pivot" heal.

I have both... '08 model Mojo 15 on park skis and '09 model Peak on pow skis. The one thing I have found to be troublesome is getting brakes for the head mojo 15. They are listed the same and look nearly the same but fit differently. Most brakes out there are for the Peak. Other than this I absolutely love the bindings.

I ordered a set of wide brakes for '08 mojo 15s from bc.com and they didn't fit right.  Not many people seem to know the difference and it is hard to see.  I ended up bending the brakes.  Here is the difference:

MIne are on Caylors and i fucking love them.  No pre-release issues for me and great bang for the buck.

Best bindings out there just now. I'll be upgrading FKS to Peak 15 next winter. If anyone wants to swap new Peak 15 for my used FKS 155 let me know.

I have both, and they are both awesome bindings.  However I would take FKS any day just because I'm certain they will outlast anything else.  Mine are on season 5.

Great bindings. Peak 15/18 and equivalents, FKS, and STH16 are the only bindings I would put on my skis. Peaks are the best binding on the market when u take price into consideration, much cheaper than others with comparable performance.

I've broken so many parts on my 155s and they're a pain in the ass to order replacements then dismantle the binding to replace them, plus there's quite a lot of play in the heels on my older pair. Tyrolia seem just as solid and spares far easier to source.
