Replying to Skiiiiis

Hi, i'm going to be going into my first year park skiing. I've been messing around with the features for the past two years and decided this year I was gonna try it out. My local shop had a year end deal and I got Salomon Suspects 08/09 and Salomon Z10 bindings for real cheap. Do you guys think they will last because i've heard about durability issues on the Suspects. But it's my first year so I won't beat the hell out of them. I have a warranty and i'm friendly with the shop owner so he will take care of me. Thoughts on the set-up would be appreciated.
