Snow pants

i was wondering on the east coast is it recommended to have 10,000+ waterproofing snow pants? i found a dirt cheap pair that are 5.000 will they hold up fine?

id want higher waterproofing just because of how much rain you guys get.

5000 isnt so good and trust me youll regret it later, 10000 is definately the minimum. I have 10000 and they work great on rainy and slushy days.
