I suggested Piano Man by Billy Joel, but I'm seeing what you guys got in mind.

18 dummy-the federation: it's fun, clean until the end and most people won't know what it means lol

graduation day-head automatica: obvious reasons

school uniforms-the wombats: it's about growing up and liking a girl

kids-mgmt: catchy, good song, and about growing up

we own the sky or teen angst-m83: i think they're both great songs and you can relate to them

when i grow up-fever ray: karin has a sick voice and it's about growing up

M83- beauties can die is really sweet for something like this. its 14 minutes long though, so i would use like the first 5. 

also

broken social scene- its all gonna break (start it at 5:30)

ok alot of those probably wont work, but some would be pretty sick.
