Computer sound stopped working??

Hey guys i have a dell vostro 1700 laptop and yesterday i was watching a video and all of a sudden the sound stopped working. The sound is working for everything else, including music, except for videos. anyone got a solution for this cus its starting to piss me off cus i cant watch the new TC episode with sound now +k for help

1. try restarting your computer

2. try running the movies in a different player and see if that fixes anything, or if they are internet clips try reinstalling flash
