WTF Facebook, you let me down!

A facebook event was made for a birthday party at my buddy Tyler's house, like 15 people responded to the invitation and said yes. Cops roll up his driveway at like 7:30 saying how they were checking on Facebook and it said there was gonna be a party here.



Are cops even allowed to do that? It was a private event, and we weren't even drinking yet but they still haggled us.

another reason why fagbook sucks. just make it private (the event) next time, and dont name it HUGE RAGER WITH UNDERAGE DRINKING HERE AT THIS TIME

BYOB and BYOW were mentioned once in the event, and there really isn't anyone that woulda ratted us out. The police here are just really really really bored.

no dude... someone mentioned something and someone else who couldn't have heard did overhear and reported it.  They did not go on facebook looking through private events called "Tyler's 17th" and come by to bust it.  That's not how it works.

That's the stupid part! He rolled up to the driveway(didn't come down) and honked. The kid in question(Tyler) and me went up to see what he wanted. He was like 'we were checking facebook and there's supposed to be a big party here tonight, something like 40 people for Tyler's birthday.' Then he said how he 'knew about Tyler'


I dono, it was fucking weird.

hahaha i remember a thread on here it think of some people that posted party invitation on facebook, and they were all of age, like mid 20's or so and there were like less than 20 people attending. it was just like a barbecue in the backyard and then all of the sudden cops in full like swat are rolling in and they had a chopper overheaddd.
in this case the cops got owned ahhahaah

a couple months ago i was being questioned by border patrol. they accused me of mailing exstasy down to the states. Apparently what had happened is some dealer saw my number on facebook, the used the online directory to find my address, and used my address to mail excatasy. gotta be carefull on facebook

Well, 2 weeks ago we were at this huge house party and he drank probably 20 beer in the space of 2 hours. Needless to say he got sick as a dog, so we're out at the end of this girls driveway and he's puking and the cops roll up. Party ended up getting busted, ambulance got called and he had alcohol poisoning. So, yes the police do know about Tyler.

a few weeks back there was a party for mine, as well as a few other peoples birthday. so it was a big party, 300 people confirmed on facebook at the time. now the party was listed as open invite, which obviously was stupid of them.

anyway, my brother has the great idea to fuck with them by making a facebook profile "barrie police" and then posting on the wall "see you guys there!"

needless to say, people were pissed!

facebook sucks. cops suck. just be a fucking normal human being and call up your freinds on the telephone (yeah theres things called telephones where you can use word from your mouth to talk to people and they can hear you with their ears and use their brains to remember what you say) to let them know about a party. that way you don't get all types of other weirdos on facebook being like "oh this persons page says that they are gonna go to this event. i wasn't told about it but i'll go show up anyway"
