Buttery ski for a small guy

hey NS help me out. ive been looking around for a pair of skis relitivatly cheep, that would be buttery but still be able to hold up on larger jumps. im about 5'1-5'2 so some one help

deffinitly get next years k2 domains. that have a 90mm underfoot. they butter very well and hold up amazingly on jumps you can get them in a 149 or 154. I think those are the 2 best sizes for you

well i would disagree with the guy who said k2 because those break reeeall easily. i would say invaders, anthems, or afterbangs are the way to go.

If you prefer a super playful ski, that sacrifices a little control for flex, go out and try to find some invaders, i think a few places online might have a few left in stock... you might be able to find some on here as well.

If you prefer a ski that you can play with in the park, as well as hit larger jumps with, then the anthems are the way to go.

If you want a LOT of control over your butters, and like a ski with a lot of pop, and jumping capability. go with the afterbangs.

its all in finding a ski that fits your riding style

The only two things that can survive an atomic blast are cockroachs, and a pair of K2 skis. Except mabeye the topsheets.

naw man, k2s are the most bombproof ski in the market.  I've put my silencers and disorderlys through hell and they are still fine.  The only part that is chipped is the topsheet but thats just for looks.

I would definitely go for the domain ,its like the new disorderly with jib rocker

The line masterminds are pretty buttery but are just stiff enough to hit big jumps, also they have 147 and 157 sizes which seems perfect for you. I'd reccomend going 147 unless you think you're going to grow

volkl ledges. great ski for butters and rails, hold up ok on mid large jumps. their soft but not noodles. bomber construction, two years and some base damage, nothing deep, edges are still great, no cracks. (i only started doing rails a lot this season). lots of small sizes, check em out.

Don't go for masterminds, they are soft but have a cap construction and an extruded base so it doesn't hold wax well and they are a price point ski for someone who skis some park but just wants a forgiving ski. I would personally go with invaders if u can find them or maybe even anthems if u want something a tad stiffer and wider but for a very buttery ski go for invaders

im about the same size and i picked up a pair of dynastar trouble xxx (gotta love the girl on the bottom) and theyre not real buttery but have his weird pop thing i tried a nose press today on my jib setup and it just popped like crazy! if that helps any. btw if your gonna grow then look at something like a 161 0r a 166

pretty much in the same situation as you, i ordered Faction Kennedy's, get to try them when our winter comes round, the size i got btw was 163cms
