K2 Extreme stealth black rivets

Hey I just had a quick question,
The k2 Extreme (the ski I'm getting for next season) has something called stealth black rivets and initially I was told it had something to do with the aesthetics of the topsheet but then I read that it helps with the durability of the ski? Explanation please? :)
I was going to call the manufacturer but I figured id get a more honest answer here first.
Thanks a lot all!

It basically helps prevent delam by holding all the layers of the ski (topsheet, core, base) together with the rivet. It can also help balance out the ski lowering the swing weight.

pretty sure the revival is a more comparable replacement to the extreme. domain is replacing the disorderly

How does putting rivets at the ends (where the effect on the moment of inertia is the greatest) reduce the swing weight of the ski?

Hey thanks all btw. Never understood wtf they were on about on their site haha.
also who here rides on something like the revival? Flat with rocker? I really like pow I really like park but being an instructor I need to be able to at least carve somewhat well and need to be able to ride everything else on the mountain haha. And I heard the flat camber alone will make a big difference in the soft stuff.
Any opinions? Not brand-discrimanatory!

They just renamed it again. It's now the silencer. The old silencer is gone. I think they added some slight rocker to it also.

Those rivets suck and even though they supposedly stop delam in about 2 months got massive top sheet chipping and you can see the core trough my top sheet because its peeled back so that means that my core is basically going to rot. Also those rivets suck balls i get caught on them every time i buttered or land with my skis close together because of this ive fallen enough from barely sketchy landings that i would never by another ski with rivets or something sticking out of the tips or tails. They're more bullshit then they are worth. Also the skis just feel dead and not lively, i wouldn't advise buying these skis.

I demoed a pair this last season and they kicked my old rossi axiums I've been riding forever to the curb. Liked them a bit better than the libtech NAS I was on too. What's a similarish ski that you'd recommend? I'm gonna start playing in pow and park but still need something for instructing purposes soo no flat camber or reverse camber (gotta carve and use them as an example lol). No serious Whistler pow but prolly 2-3 ft. I was going to throw some Schizos on too for the one-ski-quiver effect :)

I'm quoting myself.... a new low.. lol. Anyway,
I was also just checking out the on3p J-mos and they seem somewhat similar to my tastes.
One note though, I have a sort of phobia of fat skis... lol.
My Rossi axiums are 69 underfoot and I have ridden only an 85 waist as my widest and I guess that maybe I see something like a 96 kinda daunting. I like the ability to hop edge to edge quick and i feel like fat=slow. Wrong? Also like I said I'm wanting to play in some pow but idk what exactly is a "pow" ski.
