All i see and hear on Ns now days is a bunch of pro hos who cant ski for shit bitching about pros and tall tees and contracts which don't concern them. I like skiing. I go on ns because its about what i love. For fuck sake some people need to grow a set of nuts and worry about their own skiing rather than what some pro did to some other pro, or what pro said what. i dont give a fuck. does anyone agree with me?

and fuck all you faggots that give a shit about karma, take mine down, i personally think its the gayest fucking thing ever anyway

I think everyone on this site is, how OP calls it "fuckheads" because we like to deal with the community we love. I don't see anything wrong with that. also I'm very sure that since NS has been created the members of it have most definitely all improved. I might still be working on things like 540's if i didn't have NS to encourage me to try new tricks by watching everyone else improve.

btw you're being a complete hypocrite by posting this OP

i love to ski.. in the park as i have said before i would fall under the suck catagory but yeah i hit jumps and rails i dont afterbang and wear baggy as shit. and i dont give a fuck about CRU,  but what ever i just love skiing and hauling ass and dooing huge switch zero spins. ~~

but i still dunno bout the whole karma thing... seems like its just used to get at people for when they make a disagreable post. for me most of my posts came before the dawn of the karma raiting.

dude, you are way overreacting. ns is not that bad, and although there are some pro hoes, most of us like to hear about the "drama" of our sport because we truly appreciate laughing at all those pros that are way to wrapped up in there bizz to pull that cock out of there ass and have some fun.

And you are the reason I fucking hate most kids on NS. Sorry that I ski to have fun and couldn't care less how good at park I was. I have fun with my set of tricks and have as much fun everyday skiing as possible.

When you grow up to be older than 12 you will understand there is more to skiing than doing sweet swups and Rodeo 5s (zomg your a fucking pro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

This is true.

I will say that though I've only been a member for a little over 2 years, I feel like the ratio of worthwhile/thoughtful posts to trolling/flaming/"oh my god I'm so funny" posts has taken a big turn for the worse.

I used to spend a lot of time reading through threads and jumping in debates about style/progression/whatever, etc., but now it just feels like an utter waste of time as most people contribute so very little and/or pokemon pictures....the influence of 4chan and the influx of members who are more into internet forums/message boards and internet culture than they are into skiing has been horrible for NS.

The two biggest changes I've observed in my time here is that pro worshipping appears to have truly reached ridiculous heights, and that new members create waaaay too many threads and post waaaay too much. I spent three months at least just lurking, reading, and observing and I wish everyone did—just like in real life, people should spent 2x as much time listening as talking...on NS, substitute reading for listening and typing for talking.

I'm sure both of those things have been going on since day one, but they seem much more pronounced now. Not sure if that's because those things really have gotten worse, or if for some reason I'm just more aware of it.

ALways has always will. Wanna know why? Because older people are more intelligent. People here have an average age of like 17 which is fine but a lot of the threads suck and thusly newschoolers is largely based on the forums intern leading to a crappier whole.

If you care what old men have to say about skiing then TGR's forums are great.

You might think it doesn't do anything, and really you are right. What it does do however, is tell me that you are one of the stupid people making newschoolers worse than what it used to be. So if you would, please get the fuck out.

Newschoolers has always had arguing (not necessarily bad) and has always had a little bit of hate (bad). If anything pisses me off it is the huge pictures of like cats and shit.
