You know, these ugly bastards. During the spring they stop doing whatever the fuck they do in the winter, and start doing whatever they fuck they do during summer. Incidentally they are in the shallow streams, rivers and creeks around my county as well as yours too.



Go get a hay fork, and start stabbing those fuckers. You don't have to eat them, cause they taste like boiled assfish. You just stab em then leave em on the riverbank. I stabbed around 35 last night in an hour and 15 minutes. Anyways, if you don't already suckerfish, get out there and do it. If you do, post up your best spear. My pitchfork broke and I need some new designs. I was thinking a hockeystick without the blade and a couple 10 inch nails taped to it.

we bought our house and there was this real nice stone wall terrace thing- anyway bunch of chipmunks and gophers got in it and were teaing it apart- this was a 40 thousand dollar wall and my dad was like nope- time for these fuckers to die- so we busted out our old pellet guns but that only got a few chipmunks- so my dad finally went apeshit and poured conrete into all the holes- one groundhog tried to escape but we shot it- all in all a good day

i kill red squirrels because they are vicious and if i dont kill them I'm sure they would try to kill me/gouge out my eyes. they are not scared of humans and usually rabid. so yeah, i enjoy putting little pieces of lead inside of their skulls and watching them bleed to death. gray squirrels are legit though, i feed them my stale bread. I despise chipmunks cuz they eat my tomato's before they get ripe then realize they're gross and just leave them lying around half eaten. ungrateful little shits. really hard to shoot though, so i usually roll with poison.

i go suckerfishing in wisconsin with a net.  if you spear them in wisconsin their is a $300-$500 fine per fish.  so basically dont get caught or your in for a hefty fine.

My brother and I caught a BIIIIIIG fucker, he was a good 10-11 inches long and his friend was driving by and we threw it at his windshield. I don't know if you guys have ever seen a fish hit a windshield at 45 miles an hour, but it's magnificent.

There's a sport we do once we get drinking around here. You basically go suckerfishing, and like I said before you throw it at cars, but you throw it at cars of people you don't know. So you hide in the ditch with 5 or 10 suckerfish and a couple buddies and when the car drives by you jump up and whip it at the cars, you can only do it in like residential neighborhoods though. Throwing it at a car going 85 miles an hour might make them crash.


Do you people really not do these sorts of things?

word, i mean i'm not against you having fun, and i'm not at all against fishing so i am not gonna stop you, just if you're gonna systematically and brutally kill lots of them, be aware that suckerfish are certainly an important part of the ecosystem cuz they only suck food off the botttom of the river and often get confused with squaw fish, which i think are invasive and eat the eggs of other fish and prey on salmon and steelhead smolts and shit. but i think in this case you're dealing with suckerfish. they look that way because they're designed to be able to hold onto rocks in the fast current areas.

In Wisconsin its a law that if you catch a Giant Carp (that's what they're called) you HAVE to throw it up on shore. They are terrible for the lakes. They feed on the bottom (they literally eat sludge and debris) stirring up the lake and making it cloudy and hard for other fish to find food.

I assume this is a similar situation.

so much speculation/wishful thinking in this thread. the difference is that giant carp were introduced by the catfish-farming industry from small private ponds to the great lakes as algae eaters, they are invasive (they are native to the far east), and they are threatening to wipe out the entire base of the food chain, which would lead to the great lakes becoming basically ponds of giant carp. the suckerfish, on the other hand, are considered to be the cleaners of their ecosystem, they are meant to exist, and they have their niche.

Its the same here as well. I never throw them up on the bank though, nothing I hate worse is seeing and smelling a rotting fish next to my favorite fishing spot. We usually just catch them and stab them once or twice behind the head and then release them so they can become catfish bait.

I've seen signs like this about bass in central maine on the kennebec, something about protecting the salmonid population.

I've caught tons of carp night fishing, but we don't usually kill em. Maybe we'll start though if it'll bring the trout population up.


Also I'd like to add that I find it hilarious that OP looks almost exactly like joker from Full Metal Jacket.
