ive used a droid and nexus one side by side and the N1 blows the droid out of the water. plus i like htc way more then Motorola and they have much more experience with android
Why do you want a cell phone? So you can call and receive calls, send and receive texts outside your house. That's all you really need. I hope you enjoy your Android anyway, but don't get too crazy with the apps.
as someone who recently went from an iphone to a pay as you go POS I disagree. everyday I long for my iphone, trying to look up movie times, maps, all my music right there, games while im waiting for an appointment. Sure the basics of a phone are calls and texts, but if you want to do anything else I hope you're wearing pants with ample pockets.
Yeah, I understand completely. Not talking shit, I've just been putting off for years to buy a "high-grade" phone as I've looked at the features in my friends' phones and how they utilize them...didn't see the point. Having 3G and a map system sounds awesome, though.
To be honest, my last phone before the droid was basic and i thought the exact same way... but once you get a phone with all the capability, you'll see how useful it really is
and once you loose those features you long for them. for some reason my blackberry wasnt able to send/receive data for a week(no internet/facebook/maps/pandora/ect) and it just didnt feel like the same phone. if you can afford the cost of a data plan and a nice phone, get it
