D5000, D90, anybody?

yea i know ill probally get bitched at for this being in B/S/T, but does anyone know any good sites to buy a Nikon D5000 or D90 BODY, for cheap, im talking $300 tops cheap, ive been on ebay and i keep getting out bid, and those mothafuckin chinks that post shit about cameras here on NS, i emailed them and there located in maylasia, so i asked and they said they would sell me one for $200 but not a USA version, go figure, i need this bad i bought a lens already for mad cheap on a auction, i need the video/picture feature for a class im gunna take, so dont bitch at me for just going for megapixels, so drop some sites or emails here, or if you have one i am very willing to buy it

i paid close to 900 for my d90 body. i think you are being a bit unrealistic dude. sorry but i think you are gonna have to shell out a little bit more cash

yea i know, but im mainly looking for a refurb, or used, on a D90, there ones going on ebay for around $600, and D5000 going for $400, i either need people to buy some stuff from me, donate money to me, or im gunna have to wait till summer till my job starts

word i hear ya. i would definately recommend the 90 over the 5000. a kid i know has the 5000 and my 90 seems just so much more solid and tougher. definately like it will hold up and take more of a beating over time.

If you want a good camera go with the nikon D300 or D500 not the D3000 or D5000. If your looking for a camera on the cheeper side i loved the Nikon D90 over The D3000, i was not a big fan of the 3000. The nikon D3000 and five thousand were just not as durable and did not work as smoothly as i liked. i sold my D90 to get a D300 and its was worth the money. Best camera ive owned out of the bunch ive had.

of course you like the d300 better than the d90 its a few steps up and the price shows, but id go for the d5000 for youre price range walmart is sellin them new for 650 so im sure you can find a used one out there for a little cheeper

alright, i got a loan from mommy, and won an auction off ebay finally for $425 on a D5000 with a one year warrenty, and some other shit, from cameta cameras auction, very sick store i highly suggest you check it out if you need camera or video shit, well i guess this thread can die now or you guys can keep debating

nice dude I love my D5000
fuck the haters as long as your careful the D5000 is pretty damn close to the D90, and its smaller size + swivel screen makes filming a ton easier
