Really hating is human nature, it is sad but it is true. People are jealous of what they do not have. Simon is a great skier there is no doubt about it, people see him all pissed off when he does not win and they hate on it. I am betting that most of the people on here when they don't get something they want or they work hard for are bummed too. Recently, I was passed over for a job I wanted, yea I was pissed and yea I was bummed (again human nature). People hear rumors that the kid is cocky, I have met him many of times (I believe there are pics in my profile also not claiming or anything like that). Simon may come off a bit cocky but every time I see him he always says what's up to me and what not.
For the person who stated that Simon rides the coat tails of Target and Red Bull, and how lame Target is. Target is actually one of the most wanted sponsors in the business. They give a ton back to the community, they maybe a mega store or whatever, but they care a lot about their riders. I spent a week at the Xgames and was at the Target house pretty much every night, the people who ran the show had nothing but respect for me. Target also as a store treats their employees much better then other mega stores; they actually care, unlike like Wal-Mart who treats their employees horrible.
Overall, people misunderstand a lot of things and turn their perception into hate. I try to live by judge not unless you want to be judged. I would love to see all the haters go out and do what Simon and the rest of the pros do. These cats work their asses off to become the best, to progress our sport, to put out edits and make kids (I use that term lightly) stoked.
Its funny how people always were hating on him before JOSS, but when it was going on everyone started to like him again, and then this video thing happened and the hate for him sky rocketed.
