repost. anyway i saw a report on this last night on the news and the news made it sound like a bluff. maybe apple paid them to say that it was unlikely that it was real but i think its real the evidence shows this and its probably going to chance by the time it comes out.

I think the Gizmodo part is almost the more interesting/ important part of this story. We all know Apple will eventually release a new iphone and people will go crazy over it no matter when they hear about it.. but Gizmodo just went to new lengths to be first to deliver the information. It's crazy how obsessed with hearing the latest from Apple we've become. And of course Apple is probably laughing their way to the banks over all this constant coverage.

the only way another phone could blow away an iphone is if the person who buys the iphone is too much of an idiot to jailbreak it.

If you jailbreak an iphone you get:

Gameboy Color/GBA/SNES/SEGA on you iphone with any game
All the apps you want, for free.
Slideshow backgrounds
Custom Sounds.

and tons of other things
