There are some really awesome school out there, some with high travel, some with highly enriched curriculums and international/diverse students. They usually aren't available through normal means of searching for a school though(ie. counsellors, career centres etc.) so I thought I'd share a couple that I know in hopes of gettting something back that I am interested in.
I'll also post a couple trips and programs I know of, feel free to post your own as well!

THINK Global School:
“At TGS, if learning were limited to inside the classroom there’d be no point in having a host city. Quite frankly, outside of the class learning is the whole point of the school. We have the flexibility to teach and learn in unconventional places and take advantage of all the opportunities our host city offers.
We combine classroom study with real life in our host city so that that students and locals can learn from one another. These experiences, these challenges and exchanges ARE the education. They provide a level of perspective that simply can’t be learned from a book or copied down copiously from a blackboard. The sights, sounds, scents and flavors of these foreign places not only make an indelible imprint on a student’s memory, they open the door to understanding, tolerance and global unity.
Dining on Dim Sum in Hong Kong; scuba diving the endangered Great Barrier Reef in Australia; visiting the ecologically sustainable wind farms in Sweden; and participating in local community service projects provide a rich context that allow our students to relate to local cultures on a personal and human level. Active learning encourages a deeper level of participation and the only thing passive about TGS learning is our non-violent conflict resolution.
Equipped with the most recent MacBooks and iPhones, these experiences will be recorded, reported and shared in real time. We’ve developed our own educational social networking program that will allow students to stay connected to their classmates, teachers, friends, family as well as inner-city classrooms around the world. Our students will be able to impact the world around them in dynamic and thoughtful ways, as well as download countless apps on their iPhone.”
