Armada or Salomon?

(facepalm) Skis are all personal preference. Depending on your skiing ability, size, what you will be skiing, and personal feel, it could be Armada or Salomon that are better for you. Find out what you are really looking for in a ski (specifics such as length, width, flex pattern, poppiness, etc.) and then get back to us. Or better yet, go demo some of each brand.

ive had 2 pairs of solomons and 2 armadas and i think solomon are good for people who can afford a new ski every year or 2 their core becomes compressed after a while but brand new they are crazy fun

Armada has a great durable core and i like the side cut?? if thats what its called

durabillity wise?  armada

how do they ski? after a month about the same.

price? salomon

Railz? never ski rails on salomons.

Pipe? armada, maybe next years pipe pro will be good but for now, armada.

jumps? armada.

all around this was a failed post for me.

armada, solid skis that are light and durable


salomon, stifff skis that have edge problems and not so durable

one is rockered and one isn't. ARV is a more traditional but soft ski, which i like much more than the shogun. Shogun is decent i guess.

i was thinking about getting armadas next year (thought about it this year but changed my mind) i haven't looked into it a ton i will when it comes time to buy but just to take a poll if anyone sees this:

What ski to get?  Alphas (not sure which one i like more) look sick to ride on but if anyone has them what is that elf shoe thing like seems like i'd be weird but it supposedly helps
