4FRNT Bindings

Are the 4FRNT Padlock 11 Ski bindings good:durability and lightness. need to know soon.+ K for good responses. Also what other binding on evo's site do u recommend.

^what he said.  Give us this info and we can advise.

If you are a Level 2 skier, short  or weigh less than 150lbs, the 4frnt padlock 11 will likely be fine for you.  If not, maybe step up to the deadolt/peak 15/mojo 15.  All 4frnt bindings are just tyrolias with 4frnt badging on them.

Don't listen to these jokers who pick jesters and pivots because they are soooo core brah!!!!!

The 4frnt Padlock is the same as the tyrolia peak 11.  If you need a higher DIN on your bindings, but still want a good price, go for the Head Mojo 15.   It is the same as the deadbolt and much cheaper.

The pivot/FKS bindings are soo much better then the other bindings listed above. The pivot is allmost entirely all metal there for its durability cannot be matched. And it also releases alot better and is safer as long as you meets the standards of having atleast a DIN of 5.

dude, it all depends on his weight/height/ski level;

+the pivot is gonna go at least 350$ while you can get padlocks for around 100$...

for the price of a pivot you can almost get parkskis + padlock bindings...

Not to mention that the pivots are only all metal if you get the 8-18 din model, and that is a serious binding. The 14 din model is more plastic than anything else.

Generally to pick a binding, the following info is helpful:

1. skier type
2. height
3. weight
4. boot sole length
6. age

All that info is needed to figure out your din (binding release setting).  Your din should fall somewhere in the middle of the din range of the binding.  Knowing what type of skiing you're doing with it too is helpful. 

The PL11 is super light and very durable but is recommended for lighter riders who are intermediate in their abilities.  If you need a more freeride oriented binding, go with the Deadbolt 13 or 15.
