Schlopy is so damn ill. Kinda crazy how much technical shit he has on lock while still maintaing some dope style. Switch 7 nose tap over the marshmellows at JOSS was insane.

Whoever runs the Empire Attire site leaked it first (which means Simon had something to do with it most likely), it was then downloaded from there and put up on youtube before it could be taken down. But, Tom was posting the links all over FB and Twitter yesterday, so they clearly wanted it to get out. Don't post it on NS though, because the mods don't want it on here and since NS is pretty involved with JOSS they're trying to respect Jon's wishes of keeping the edits until they release. However, that being said, they are technically property of the Filmer (unless they signed some sort of contract, and even then the edit can be simply changed slightly and then released by the filmer/editor as it is their creative property) so I don't see it as being that big a deal that it was released early.

I don't care if they were allowed or not but Jon payed mad money and made tons of efforts to organize the dopest comp and T-wall and dumont go and leak the video wich fucks shit up for Jon. That was a major dick move, they should learn to loose instead of being total douche bags to someone who busted his ass to make an ill comp.

I agree, it was definitely a bit of a slap in the face to Jon. Especially after everything he did for them and since he wasn't even involved in the judging process.


However, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't fucking stoked to watch their edit.

True, it was a pretty dick move, but it's not like people aren't gonna go to Jon's site during that time...I plan on still going to watch it on his site cause the quality will be SO much better. But, this isn't the first time Tom and Simon got screwed by this comp...last year, their edit wasn't even released by Jon, we had to wait almost another week before they put it up on youtube, my guess is, that it wont be released on Jon's site again this year (for the same reason as last year - no song rights) so they're just giving it out early. Remember...Tom and Simon are trapped in Europe with Jon, don't you think maybe they talked to him about it already...

Why not? There's so many good american skiers that would make an edit with as good quality (or better) and at least not be dickheads to Jon and be grateful to have the opportunity to be in that comp.

I personally would prefer to watch Schlopy any day, but Simon is a far far better skier.  Nobody gets close to Simon's magnitude while still being in control, and now that he's finally learned dubs he might be able to get his big air game back up.  No hate on either skier but the hate on Simon is ridiculous

yea. simon is such a solid skier in general, and his ability to stay in the game for this long is insane. I still love watching simon just because he is so comfortable in the air and just goes absolutely huge. he definitely deserves wayy more respect then he receives her on NS.
