I use FCP and i just got a new camera and this starting happening the first time i've tried capturing with it but it would happen occasionally with my old camera
i have my camera plugged in, ready to rumble, I scroll down to Log and Capture and it says..."unable to initialize video deck. You can still capture offline or use Capture Now" or something along those lines
i don't know why this is happening and it's quite frustrating. also it DOESN'T let me capture now (what i normally do)
