Replying to The Perfect Burn

Nothing is better than having an even circular burn while enjoying a nice cigar. So post up the tips that you use.

I'm not an expert with smoking, but I was told to light without puffing on the cigar, like you could with a pipe or a cigarette, but just run the lighter across the end until the sides are light up evenly and then get the middle going. Also leaving the cherry on for as long as possible. And rotation is also key. The bottom of the cigar burns the quickest because the oxygen is not being displaced by the smoke like it does on other sides of the cigar.
