My friend got dropped

so in our lacrosse game two weeks ago, my friend got absolutely hammered when picking up a ground ball. i mean it was painful to watch.
the kid who hit him was smaller, so they both went down hard, but this kid just stuck his neck out and went helmet to helmet. my friend couldny move for a minute or two, but eventually got up with a stiff neck and a head ache. he ended up with no more than a concussion.
so by request, i made the highlight tape for him and everyone else. enjoy

yeah ive went helmets and gloves before with lacrosse kids after their practices. but face to face hits dont really hurt, i thought someone got ran the fuck over

thats my problem with lax, everyone who plays always talks up how rough it is and how big the hits are.
Its a cool sport but the impact are nothing compared to what they could be.
This as well as watching my highschool teams play has lead me to the conclussion that lax is just for kids who aren't tough enough for football

9/10 kids on my lacrosse team play football (including myself) and are great football players.

two kids from my school, probably the two best quarterbacks in our schools history, went to college for lacrosse. One, Ned Bowen, played for UVA and was a captain and won a national chapionship, the other played at Navy and is now a navy seal.
another amazing football player who went to yale to play football was one of our best lacrosse players. there were also many more.

i dont know about where you are from, but around here, football and lacrosse are pretty damn rough. I dont know if you've heard of John Jay, but they are (or were a couple days ago) the #7 team in the country. they are in our league. we play our first game against them tuesday, and we have another one the week after that.

I live in CO, so the lax scene isn't nearly as big as the east coast, i'm assuming you're an eastcoaster.
The only big hits i've seen at my school are from the kids who play football too, so like 3 of the kids on the team.
There is one kid who wrecks kids in lax, he is a 6'3" 215 pound benching 285 sophomore, who big surprise plays football too.

Around here all the lax kids talk it up all big but the ones who can actually hit are the football kids

but anyways that was totally off topic

i play football and football hits are way bigger than lax hits i live in NY so lax is huge at my school and shit but you see more hand skills than hits, the only big hits are from our hockey players and or football players

not really something to claim ahah

but as a smaller guy thats the only way i can effectively hit, i nice spear to sternum will put anyone on their ass. but i always get a bloody mouth from the facemask mashing my cheeks and lips with my teeth, makes you feel like a bad ass

Quarter backs get hit hard probably once every 2 games. They don't get consistently wrecked like a running back with a shitty line.

Truth be told, that was sort of like watching 2 8 year olds with their Dad's hockey stuff on bumping into each other. Didn't really look that painful, and both of those kids look pretty small.


Anyways, my point is that lacrosse players are generally huge pussies.



Show me a professional lax player that hits that hard.



Show me a highschool lax player that hits that hard. For the record, I play against Hussein and I know how it feels to get hit by him.

There aren't as many big hits in lax because there don't need to be. The point is to get the ball, and it doesn't matter how. It's not like football where the soul point of defense is to hit.

toronto is pussy at football expecialy if that jerseythat said blues on it was UCC my highschool from london playe their senior team and it was like 60 nothing at half with the bench warmers playing

and lax players wear 0 padding compared to football Ive been crushed in football by 240 pound 6 foot linebackers it hurts like a bitch but getting slashed in lax or a full speed collision with no padding is rattling

and a fight laxer vs football player a laxer would dominate

lax players are not pussies they r defiantley more tough than football players especially in ontario

Shows what the fuck you know, the only good football team from London is the Falcons..and that's only because they're OVFL. Hussein plays for Senator O'Conner. I don't know where you're hiding all the tough lacrosse players in Ontario, but I've never seen any. They're usually the kids who are too pussy to play football, or too slow..or just not big enough.

ive been playing lacrosse for years and in no way whatsoever is it a pussy sport, half the padding of hockey and football, and a lacrosse helmet is not a football helmet

all that being said, i dont consider anyone a pussy, including myself, if they're an attackman or middie running full speed into the crease with multiple 6'0+ 200lb++ linebackers waiting to destroy you with a 6ft metal pole

dont really wanna get into this argument but for the sake of lacrosse i have to... big hits take yourself out of the play and it very easy for someone to move the ball before u get hit..... unlike in football after contact the play is dead.... this is why especially in professional big hits are uncommon because they are pointless, it is much better to play sound d and stay in front of the person. but to say lacrosse players are pussy is retarded
