Matching exposure on layers in PS CS3

So im trying to make a sequence but it was shot on a little point and shoot, so the exposures of every frame dont match since theres no true manual mode.

Now i know photoshop matches exposures for each frame when you have it automerge to do a panorama, but anyone know a way to just have it do that with each layer of a sequence? because if you do it as a panorama it just uses a portion of each frame, and often doesnt include the subject that i want it to.
