your goalie should have gone for the ball with some presence aka elbows flying and put one right into that kids dome..or the defenders could have knocked him over

bottom line: your team is a bunch of vaginas and deserves the loss

Our vagina ass goalie who blows compared to the rest of our team isnt the problem. its the blatant handball and the fact that you have to make an attempt for the ball if running into someone. it looks like he went straight for the keeper and then to the ball

technically it could have been called a handball as it does strike his arm, though few refs or linesmen would ever spot that.

otherwise, the keeper should have done better. If he didn't want to risk it, he should have punched.

im gonna agree with the OP here, first off the offensive team didnt even attempt to head the ball on that play, he just threw himself into the goalie almost like a body check (although very weak) and secondly, the offensive player blatantly handballed on the play. Handballs by accident are still handballs.

Although the entire defensive team was just standing around and being pretty useless, that goal still should not have been allowed.

yea the attacker also makes no effort to get the ball first, but instead tries to go for the keeper, and succeeds. Keeper needs to bring his knee up and lean forward though. Worst that'll happen is he'll knock the kid over and still lose the ball, but a defender could clear it.

1. bad calls happen, its a part of the game.
2. your keeper fucked up by being such a fucking pussy.
3. you caring so much shows that you are either the keeper or a fucking pussy yourself.
4. go cry about it you vagina. you lost and judging by how you, your keeper and assuming the rest of the team are little girls, you deserved the loss.

That call is gonna depend on the ref.  I know its bullshit, but the ref could have called it an unintentional hand ball, which is of course rediculous because who is going to intentionally catch the ball with their hands.  Unfortunatley, some refs have no idea about the sports the ref.

I guess everyone in this thread is just ok with losing when something like this happens?? sorry the kid is bummed he lost because of two legit no calls. If it happened you any of you who bitched, i guess you would just be like "well its ok, the goalie should have done a better job, gosh darnnnn, but we lost fair and square".... specially against a rival team. Fucking retards.

I see why you are angry, the kid ran into the keeper and he lost it which is shitty and then it hits his hand which had an effect on where the ball bounced too, which is also shitty. Goalie should just punched it out, but whatever.

Half of you people replying to this thread saying how the keeper was a pussy, etc. probably don't even play soccer/know the game at all.

First of all, he clearly would have caught the ball in the air if the kid from the other team hadn't body-checked the shit out of him. Second, the hand ball was SO obvious - the ball not only bounced between his hip and his hand one, that after it hit is wrist/hand for a second time (his hand kinda flails around for a little bit). And third, it's kinda hard to tell from the angle the camera was at but depending on how far back the white defender was, the kid coulda been offsides anyways.

In the end, it's a shitty way to lose, but it's soccer. It happens.

no you don't know what you are talking about,
the keep is a bitch cuz he doesnt know how to catch a ball. he had it and dropped it cuz he got slammed by the other player. had he jumped into traffic properly the other kids face would have botten a kneecap and the keeper would have gotten the ball.

most refs call that back. its the 5meter box and there you cant really "attack" the goalie. besides that i think it was a clear handball and not even that hard to see.

but still, it looks a little weird how the goalie acts. he couldve gotten the ball before it bounced if he was aggressive

You clearly dont know the game if you say that that is a handball, the ball was bouncing and hit the strikers hand from behind when he had no clue where it was. This is called accidental hand ball and so is not a foul.

not always. just think of the extreme: he punches the ball without knowing where it is and scores...

i personally hate that most of the time "accidental handball" is not a foul. like when a defender tries to block a cross and jumps towards the ball with his hands raised. if it hits his hands, its accidental, although he increases the "blocking surface" of his body.

so i know youre right in most cases, but its bullshit

On a side note that was bullshit. In slow mo you can see the goalie was under it and it was he was just catching it when he got wailed by the other kid. And that kid just about dribble the ball back in front of him.

High school sports though, shit happens deal with it. I remember the ball went 3 feet out of bounds and I ran to grab it and the kid kicked it back in and scored a goal. Just because it's bullshit doesn't mean it's not going to count.

10 is a beast, i wish he would have stepped up to the kid. he did make a good play by getting in goal though, just was a little hard to block from five feet away. i dont know what kid on the far right was doing or the long haired short kid who stuck one weak foot out.

if you watch the vid again you will be able to see that the keeper had control of the ball for a fraction of a second so it was a foul. I think we are talking about different things because i never said that it was illegal to put your knee up. I used to play for a big english team (youth) in goal and that was the first thing they taught us how to do.
