Lethal Descent

So im looking around at coats to buy and brands for next year and I have been checking out lethal descent. Well everyone i found that owned a lethal descent jacket said it was sick and loved the fit and everything. But it was just falling apart.. i dont want to buy it if this is going to happen.. like the sewing on the LDC on the shoulder was coming undone, the cuffs were ripping too easily.. just little stuff like that.. anyone else have any issues?

I´ve skied with mine since december and mine doesn´t have a scratch! And my friend has skied with it since january and the only thing about his is that one of the magnets has fallen off and lies in the bottom of the jacket.

My jacket is in great condition and I have been skiing in it since January. I have had no problem with the stitching and I have never heard of anyone with it. I have heard some issues with the stitching of First drop tho.

To address your concerns, these are the changes will are making next year that fix what you are addressing:

-Embroidery will be changed to a higher stitch/area ratio making it considerably more durable.

-Sewing at the cuffs will be sewn twice to prevent liner from tearing.

-Magnets are being replaced with snaps, though the magnets are fun to play with, they have to go.
