Dim Tail Light

So I searchbarred this and I was wondering if a "dim" tail light is reason enough for a cop to pull you over. I got pulled over on my way home from getting groceries doing nothing illegal and bam red and blues behind me.

the reason for that because social deviants usually don't maintain their automobiles because they would rather spend it on something illegal.  since the cops recognized this trend, and obviously statistics have proved it to be true (reason for implementing this strategy) then yes, go to autozone and get a tail light bulb for 10 dollars instead of your next gram.

well first off i had no clue it was dim i looked at it yesterday and i was all good. and its not like im just driving around a beater car its a nice one so its not like im some crackhead.

i also just had my buddy check my brakelights and he said they look perfectly fine.

brake on and off?  standing far back? 

maybe the cop needed to meet his quota for traffic violations.  usually cops are more likely to fuck with you towards the end of the month.

well she just gave me a warning but this is the second time i have been stopped for something pointless at the same exact spot between the same driveways 500 ft from my apartment...i just don't understand why local cops go after this stuff when there is plenty of crime in plain sight in my town
