Replying to SKIS FOUND: thank you!

YES!, there is a happy ending!

apparently the kid turned himself in this morning to whistler ski patrol crying, and carrying the movements. I honestly believe that if this kid was a newschooler, the thread and most of the intellegent posts on it really helped him to decide todo the right thing.

as far as punishment goes, i have decided not to press charges only because i have the skis back and i dont want to ruin the kids life, but ski patrol is going to decide on the punishment with the maximum penalty being a lifetime ban from whistler.

Thanks everyone for the vibes, advice and stuff while this was still going on, hopefully everyone else on newschoolers besides these two kids is aware that stealing skis is one of the lowest things that you can do, and that taking away somebodies ability to ski is awful, (especially a fellow ns)...

not everyone is fortunate enough to buy 5 pairs of skis, believe it or not... some of us save up forever to buy new skis and so when we are finally able to purchase them its a huge deal... dont strip that away for somebody.
