What are D's?

My friend an i had a drunk/pointless argument over what "D's" are...he thinks D's stands for dubs like 22 inch rims but i'm pretty sure that it stands for Dayton rims...most of the urbandictionay definitions said that it stands for Dayton rims, but a few define it as 22's....anyone know for sure what D's stands for and can help bring this meaningless argument to a conclusion?

Dayton wire wheels are regarded as the wheel of choice for lowrider cars, with the 13 inch and 14 inch reversed spoke wheels being the most popular. Dayton rims have also been referred to as "D's" by many rappers.

50 cent mentions he uses Dayton rims in his song "Get In My Car".

Rich Boy's single, Throw Some D's refer to Dayton wire wheels.

The Game mentions Daytons in the song "Higher" from the album "The Documentary".

In Afroman's single "Crazy Rap" he mentions Dayton rims.

It started with the rims, but then graduated to mean many other things. The key being "improvement". Imagine what it means to put those rims on your car... You are "putting D's on that bitch". Now... If you were to pay money to improve something else it could also hold true. I bought gold baskets for my joystick poles... "I put some D's on them bitches" I added a shifty to my new dub cork sev... "I dropped some D's on that bitch" I bought my girlfriend (or shorty) fake breasts... "I put some D's on that bitch" Many uses. In actual fact the D's is a very useful expression in our current society. ;)
