Summer is coming, time for cliff jumping!

Guessing she hit something submerged underwater or the bottom. Or maybe she had her neck in a really fucked up "whiplash-like" position when she hit the surface.. Maybe the guy who posted the video knows?

Jumping like this is a real rush, but scouting the area first is real important. Even if you've been there before, underwater currents etc, can really mess with conditions..

that video gives me the shivers.

scouting is the most important thing. that waterfall was good all year but we still checked the water everyday and one day we found a shopping cart not to far from the surface but still submerged and hidden.

oh and i clipped my heel in that first shot. that wasn't fun but it was windy that day and i had gotten confident over the summer. never get confident.

im actually not too clear on it myself either but all i know is the girl passes out half way in the air and probably lands in an awkward position or something for her body, i will ask around and get back to you

And those kids died there casue they jumped it in early may.....the first kid hit the water, went into shock and the other two jumped in to save him and same thign happened to them

i saw a kid bellyflop from 40 ft...he was knocked out on impact and started to sink similar to the girl...it was pretty scary but the kid was bein an idiot and tripped while runnin of of it...he ended up bein fine

I take that back it was like Mid April . It was one of those weeks where it was hotter than it should have been for the time but the water was still cold. Also this bridge is 3100 feet long, the lake is a resivor like Rusty said so its naturally shallow so you have to go out a far bit to be safe. Idk why you are calling me out on something this pointless?

I can't find any of the news articles about it but you dont have to be a fucking douch about me confusing the date of something that happened a year ago. the water around here is still cold in early/mid May.

Banks Lake in Washington is the shit. theres hella cliffs to be had. this was the best one to huck meat on because most of the others were 60-100.

Went cliff jumping into one of the runoff lakes in Mammoth.... Swimming has never been so hard before.

They scouted out the area and everything was clear. The jump was around 30 feet which I've done before. I jumped in before feeling the water temperature and nearly went into shock. Such a scary feeling. I was so cold it was like I instantly couldn't feel my body and was just hoping it was working. Breathing was equally hard. I'm just glad I didn't jump any farther out. I waited like 2 hours and adjusted to the water temp before doing it again.

In northen ny (lake placid, saranac lake, cadyville, wilmington, onchiota) we got tons of places, 50 footers with thats a step off into a 10 ft wide plunge pool, 80fter into a lake, 40ft bridges and a few dope ropeswings, gahh i miss it so much.  Goin out this weekend with the camera to film a few places if i got the time ill try to get an edit up mid next week, gunna be sick.  wish i could jump myself but 3months out of acl replacement probably isnt a good idea

The story is that they were taking limestone out of this gravel pit and hit a spring. So it's flooded now and the minerals in the water make it a tropical blue-green colour. The cliffs on the left are about 25-30 ft. the picture really does the colour of the water no justice, it's so nice there.
