Replying to Best Band Of All Time

Who do you think is the best band or solo artist of all time? Not strictly indie but anybody. And yes i know this is the indie cult but ya'll have good taste in music otherwise so i wanna hear what you think.

Me? I would probably have to go with The Beach Boys. I know I know you are all thinking WTF the beach boys? Anybody coulda written shit like Surfer Girl and all that bs. But really, if you get past their first couple albums and start at 1965ish they fucking fuck shit up. More 4 and 5 star albums than any other band i can think of.
