Best Slopestyle Course This Year.

Out of all the contests this year. Xgames, Euro X Games, Dew Tour, Dumont Cup, etc. Frankly i think the courses sucked this year. No creative features really. Dumont cup was my favorite. What was yours.

Red Bull Cold Rush. seriously. big mountain/backcountry ride > park riding. more fun. more opptions. more opportunity. not the same run over and over again. same run=boring.

x-games europe for sheer length and possible jump combos. original x-games did add a little bit of creativity with the hitching post, but nothing mind boggling. i'd love to see something of a course next year with big variety of features, like one trad step-down, step-over, some more of the urban/streetrail idea and a hip/spine. with a lot of jibs mixed in.

x games was pretty good same with euro x and breck stop for dew tour not creative but they were good competion runs i guess hope they change it up next year.. like 4 jibs 4 jumps type of style would b cool 2 watch

I think the shark fin in the euro x added some real style to the comp in addition to the 7 jumps

X Games Aspen course was nice. There was quite a lot of rail options at the top (pretty much everybody used the same line tho), itching post I was skeptical until I saw Casabon/Walker but it turned out great. The rainbow was fucking epic. One of the craziest slopestyle feature I've ever seen. Jumps were all right, maybe there could have been more variety.

X Games Europe, lots of jumps which was nice.

Dew Tour Breck, the jibs at the bottom were cool, there was a lot of options but everybody did pretty much the same line

x-games was dope... i mean that gap to rainbow rail was insane. but honestly if you're looking for creative features, don't look towards the biggest slope comps of the year. for something to move forward and be legit, you cannot have weird (creative) features where you can't really throw down or judge properly.

I think they should take out the canon box thing at all the stops. Yea it looks cool, bu every guy is doing more or less the same thing out of it. I know it works well bc it's high speed in and out and works well w jumps. Instead they should put a big ass dfd somewhere in the course that makes it mandatory. So guys actually have to do a little balancing unlike 20 ft flat bars/diaster to a 25ft box...which consist of tricks any first/second year park skier can do. I few guys do some harder tricks but not more than 4 or 5 guys. Too many guys, like at the xgames go 40mph into the rails and look like they just want to get through it. Then u have casabon, walker, wallisch going waaaay slower and showing some control and style through that section. Wish more guys would do that.

X Course looked sick this year. You can't really expect courses to have creative features as skiing really hasn't adopted stuff like that yet. Snowboarding courses always seem to have creative features...

yeah man, snowboarding is totally more advanced than skiing's slope courses. i mean look at the snowboarding slope course for x games and x games europe... or even the dew tour stops! oh wait...

IMO a sick slope course should have at least 4 jumps so a competitor is given he chance to show that he/she can spin in all 4 directions.
