After reading through close to 40 entries, and deliberating between many great Love Stories, the Jay Peak Marketing Team have made their choice.
"Eastcoast. Treasure.
I've had the privilege of riding hills and mountains across Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, and B.C., but nothing compares to the atmosphere and gnar of the terrain found at Jay. Tight east coast glades that hold white pockets of (hopefully) knee/waist deep pow, epic views to be had from all over the mountain, and real fucking skiers who have no problem helping visitors find the good stuff; what more could you ask for? Riding in April after my birthday with friends and the NS crew would be the perfect end to what has been an awkward season in Ontario. Raiseāme Jay!"
This entry represents the passion that is Jay, the attitude and the mountain.
And without further ado, this little piece of literature belongs to Ryno!
Ryno and 3 friends get to spend this coming weekend at Jay Peak with the NS crew, milking the last turns out of the season. We'll also have a photographer and journalist on hand to document the weekend for NS and the Jay Magazine.
Also happening this weekend are the pond skimming contest and our friends at UVM having a parking lot cook out. Finally, this weekend also marks the last party to be held in Hotel Jay before it has to make room for new development.
If you are in the area come on up to Jay and join us for a great weekend of spring skiing!
