New-ish to Indie

Hey. I'm just looking for some bands and albums I should really listen to. I'm pretty new to the whole indie genre, and absolutely love it.

I know of/have...

The Antlers, Arcade Fire, As Tall As Lions, Bon Iver, Chad Vangaaleen, Grizzly Bear, Islands, Patrick Watson, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Vampire Weekend, and Wolf Parade.

I know a few of those are Post-Rock but whatevs. And sorry if some of those aren't considered Indie.

Check out all the bands posted in this cult, you'll probably like most of it.

Do you like post-rock? If so, check out: Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Explosions in the Sky, Sunny Day In Glasgow, Oceansize, Mogwai, God is an Astronaut etc.


Other indie to look into:

Modest Mouse, Neutral Milk Hotel, Deerhunter, Tokyo Police Club, The Flaming Lips, Animal Collective, TV On The Radio, Pavement, Of Montreal, Pixies etc.
