Do Salomon and Tyrolia brakes break lots?

I had rossi bindings mounted on my park skis and I've gone through 4 sets of brakes this season. The brake just rips off the binding when I crash hard switch. I have marker griffons on my JJs and they seem alright.
How durable are the brakes on Salomon and Tyrolia bindings?

I hardly ever hear about salomon binding brakes breaks. I feel ur pain, i have 19 halfway/ totally broken brakes from my Axial/trouble maker/ px12 bindings i got them all haha.

My Salomon's have broken the only time I had an actual switch crash.  I think most brakes will break because they are not meant to work properly when the skis backwards,  and when you land switch it puts so much pressure in a way it was not designed for.  Someone seriously needs to design and produce some two way breaks, I know I'd drop $50 for them

Tyrolia brakes are very hard to bend compared to Salomon or Rossi.  The metal is much stiffer.  This may make them less likely to break in a crash.

Seems like an easy problem to overcome.  I'm surprised 4frnt doesn't try to make a custom bi-directional brake to add to the deadbolt.  Would fit in well with their demographic (nsers).

I've broken the brake plate off STH16s. It bent the metal in the plate of the binding and they're done. These binding were the worst bindings I've ever had anyway. Its not that I have a problem with Salomon (I have a pair of really old 916 bindings which work great and are bomber) but I just hated that binding as the nose piece always came loose too.

I haven't broken the breaks on tyrolia/heads/4frnts etc... but I have broken off the plastic bits on the end of the brakes and bent them a bit. Doesn't really make a difference though.

Tyrollia bindings have always been known for breaking and dangerous ever since they were even invented.

I've had Tyrolia bindings for a bit now..the brake does seem sturdier than my rossis/looks, I have broken off the plastic tips, and bent them pretty bad before..but the brake still functions fine..someone needs to make a brake that goes both ways so falling switch doesn't destroy your brakes.

my buddy had a pair of tyrolia's on his park skis and prereleased a lot but the brakes were fine.

I broke all of my breaks on my tyrolia bindings within like 2 weeks and the bindings were total shit, px12 status.

I had a fucking nightmare with Salomon bindings - virtually every time I skied over the course of one season the brakes would break on me. I lost so many ski hours and so many dollars in the shop just getting them up and running only for them to break yet again on my next park sesh.
