chicago is thinking about taking away skateboarding from the streets of chicago and its suburbs, they arent thinking right obviously.
i dont skate but i was super stoked on filming this year until i saw this. Not only does this effect action sport filmers and skaters, but also the companys and shops that need skating to prosper.

I think what he's stating is that he doesn't want to do something illegal, instead he'd rather just petition against a law so he can still skate/film legally at places like millenium park and navy pier. But I also agree alot of skateboarding does destroy hardscape of cities, and I also like a clean city. I also enjoy walking downtown and seeing some local kids make an obstacle out of anything. Maybe they should just enforce littering more?
