Gnarlyest crash of your season?

Mine was on Saturday skiing with K_M, Micah and TJ from the sports creel.

so here we are skiing the rock chutes i come hauling down into some wacky variable snow one of my skis ejects there then i proceed to mob right into a tree with my leg thus causing my other ski to eject and javelining about 40 feet down the hill to sticking out of the snow and i end up wrapped around the only tree within 100 feet and i am surprised that my acl / leg is not broken.

Tried a bs630 for the first time ski poped off as I started to spin and then I smacked my head so hard my back and neck hurt and I got a concussion and had to stay in a spinal board at the hospital for a night so uncomfortable.

My worst of the season isn't actually skiing,

Sliding a rail on rollerblades (No, im not gay) my foot slipped off and i went chin first into the end of the rail, and pretty much cracked my tooth in half.

hopped onto a box set, 15ft up, to about 2 foot gap, to 15ft down. hopped on, caught a back front edge, and somehow the ski ripped off, leaving me with one ski, which got itself placed nicely in the gap, and holdin firm, ripping off my boot, and me rag dollin all the way down.

 all i got was a bruise the size of a quarter on my knee..?

Caught my tip on a tree, got spun around to switch and smashed into another tree back first.
The only thing I hurt was my tongue because I bit it. So lucky!!

either a broken asscheek overshooting a 35foot jump to flat on my ass or clipping my ski doing a 2 out of an up rail onto my head, or skimming a puddle and my tips dug in and tomahawked one and ahalf times

Same shit happened to me, but this gap was smaller so i actually got my one ski and myself stuck in teh gap so I hit the side of it hard! I bruised up my entire shoulder.

not really a bad crash but over rotated a 3 and my ski poped off my brake wasnt working so my ski flew all the way down to the end of the park then to where the chairlift started and hit the attendant...i thought it was gnarly cuz it almost killed the guy

so i was up at stevens pass first run was just a chill day run, went through mogels to get to the trees. super windy and icy that day, went towards a final mogel and boosted off of it and lost control in the air. slammed my face into the cold, rock hard ice landing and broke the bill off of my helmet, and cracked my oakley crowbar lense in half. my skis slammed into my back and bruised it. i bled out my mouth and nose for a solid full 5 minutes. but after all that damage i decided to do a few more runs.

Fell off an up-flat-down box like 15 feet straight to my dome and got a mild concussion.

Hit a 35 footer I had never hit before and sent it to flat because my buddies told me they were overshooting it really easily. Hurt my nuts from the impact, not cool. Could have been much worse though all things considered.

Racing skiercross on wednesday.
I was skiing really well, i won my first heat easily /claim.
Then on the last feature petesteez bumped me, which got me off balance, so i couldn't pump the roller.
Then i was kind of flying sidewaysish and clipped a gate and got wrecked, and broke my new cbars.
Thank god i had a back protector and a mouthguard

too slow, 9 landed on the knuckle, smashed my face with my knee. Ended with a vampire mark from my teeth in my knee, a broken tooth and plenty of holes in my lips.

oh yeah, this was yesterday.

First crash of the season i had just started getting into 2s onto urban stuff and i do it have it all set up good then instantly slip out hit the full side of my face flat against the rail which makes a really loud noise from what i've heard got my first concussion got my helmet and got dub swaps on the rail the day after

Like a month ago I was skiing with cbeezfosheez hitting like a 30 foot jump. My friends were filming and I was just going to do a daffy to get on film but I had not hit the jump all day. (I hate this mountain they have like 1 down rail thats good and like 1 sticky box and then the jump) So I go up and they tell me to start from all the way up top but I got lazy and basically started halfway down thinking I could tuck. I daffyed, and then knuckled and rolled down the whole landing while people from the lodge came running out to see if I was okay.

not really any bad crashes. my worst was probably leaping this little 6 ft drop, overshooting the landing, landing on flat, double ejection, smashing my face into my skis, chipping a tooth, dragging my face along the ground giving me scabs all over and two shiners.

I did a dub cork 14 at schweitzer, I am told that I barely landed on my feet and slipped out and hit my head on the ice.  Went into convulsions, posturing, got backboarded/neckbraced.  Ambulance to hospital, CT scan.  Turned out fine, just serious concussion.

came up short on a cork 5 and tore my ACL.  shit fucking hurt.  then later this season got a shitload of air and did not get the full rotation, edges caught and smacked my head on the ground and cracked the helmet.

Bombing down a hill. Got cut off. forced me to go off groomed on an icy day. Launched off a cliff and landed on my back directly on the flats. Cracked 3 of my ribs and shattered two vertebrae. I can only wait til next year to ski again. Fucking lame!

It was actually last sunday. It was warm so i miss judged the speed in parklane at breck and over shot the third jump. Bruised my tail bone pretty bad, still hoping it gets better so i can ski next weekend for closing weekend.

I didnt have too many bad crashes this season but my worst was not getting all the way over the knuckle of the landing on a jump and the whole landing was ice and I tumbled all the way down it (wasnt wearing a helmet that day)

My most hilarious (for me) crash:

I was skiing in the early season (early January, early here), and they were still snowmaking on the trail I was on, making it kinda hard to see. I was going to hit this little mogul/snowgun pile/jump on the trail, thinking it was a tiny little mogul. I come off the lip, realize that it's actually really big, somehow do a frontflip to backslap. I skidded to a stop, these two boarders I was skiing like were like "HOLY FUCK!" One of the best moments of the season, I couldn't stop laughing.

Another good one, I was skiing with my friend at Mont Ste. Anne, on one of the easy runout groomers (I think it was the run just to the skier's left of the south chair). I'm skiing along, I see a snowgun and a little lip behind it, perfect to jump off of. My friend Rob had the same idea, and just as I was heading toward it he cannons into my back, one leg between mine, the other on top of my ski. I eject out of one ski, landing on him, his ski falls into a hole and slides into an underground rivulet, foot still attached. I got my other ski off and out from under him, detached his skis (he couldn't reach), and we got out. Most retarded crash ever.

I had a pretty good season this year, no big crashes or anything, I was doin at mute 7 and took it a little deep and just got a knee to the face and just a pretty bad bloody nose, not too big of a deal though. Some of the crashes on here are just ridiculous.. ahah

30 foot cliff, landed too far forward in a bombhole filled with slough, lost both skis instantly and cartwheeled about 8 times finally coming to rest with my head buried in the snow. i had snow packed in my mouth and goggles and my skis were sitting comfortably in the bombhole right where i'd left them

I decided to hit the 65/70 ft. step over at my mountain second run of the day.  The speed was super sketchy, basically straight in, tuck, and hope you will make it.  I was going in to just do a straight air, and the lip of the jump sent me off super backseat.  I transferred my weight forward so I wouldn't land on my head.  I ended up landing on my back and thomahawking down the landing.  Luckily, I got up and skied away.  It was basically the scariest moment for me ever skiing.  Just taking off the jump and flying through the air knowing that you're going to eat shit.  The hardest thing was getting the confidence back to hit it, but I did.

boosted off a get back without knowing what i was going to be landing on. while i was at the climax of the jump i looked down and saw a field of large ice boulders, about 2 ft each in diameter. hit the ice boulders, double ejected went chin first into one, then did a half assed rag doll. my chin was ripped open and bleeding pretty good

either when i tried a cork 5(later video review showed more of a cork 7 set) and landed right on my face, knocking the wind out of myself and breaking my google lense

or a zero spin on the same jump, where i cased(it was a slushy day) and my tails caught, i did a full backwards somersault on the ground, and rode away clean switch...until i fell over cuz i was so disoriented/hurt, my neck hurt forever, but it was awesome! haha, i got lots of cheers from the lift

Was doing a blindside swap on a flat down rail at avila and got it pretty good but all of a sudden i lost my footing and slipped backwards. I tried to absorb all of the fall with my right arm. When i put my arm down to stop myself my shoulder dislocated really hard and it was the shittiest feeling ever. I have dislocated it before and this was way worse. I wasnt able to get my shoulder back in for another 4 hours until i was in the hospital and on some serious drugs(only good part of injury). Anyways, dont hurt your shoulder, soo anoying to heal.
