Hahaha, yeah I've heard lot of this before. Call them on it and use it a tool to get a lower price.
I just got a dope 12 string guitar today 15 bucks. Sooo nice.

Hahaha I do the exact same thing. Hoping one day someone is selling a hasselblad for 30 bucks because they don't know what they have. I stopped using that method and got one, but I still look out for them all the time.

I got a mint condition Minolta SRT202 for only $2 though, pretty sweet.

I have gotten sooooo many pairs of skis from garage sales and junk days. Also a set of shocks from a toyota tundra for free, I was gonna make a ballin coffee table but then some idiot in my metals class blew one up. A few weeks ago I found a pair of skis with look forzas which have perfectly working fks-style heel pieces, which is quite convenient as I recently found my axial heels are fucked. Also on junk days, old bed frames which are a great source of angle iron for coping, and random shit such as barrels to jib.
