Deabolt 18 Question

I weigh about 155 and am 5'10" and i was wondering if getting deadbolt 18s would be a good idea to mount on a pair of chronics to ski park with. the minimum DIN on them is 8 so idk if getting them would be a good idea. +k for legit responses

That sounds a bit high, I would honestly just snag a pair of the FKS 140's.

i dont have enough cream for those. i can buy the deadbolts for $160 which is the reason im trying to see if they can work for park skis

18 would be a little to high, i am about the same situation and i have the deadbolt 15 and they work perfectly

damn i guess im gonna try to find another awesome binding deal then. i dont want bindings that are too intense for my skis

If you're getting a sick deal on the Deadbolts then grab them anyway then swap/sell them with someone who needs the 18 din or has no love for their knees.

mojo 15's $110 shipped, great condition only used about 5 times. 90mm brakes. Head and deadbolts are basically the same binding, both made by tyrolia

I've got deadbolt 18s. They are a good binding but very heavy. I got them because I got a great price. I've also got Mojo 15s. The Mojo 15s feel just as solid as the 18s to ski on but they're lighter so I'd get those instead. Or, if price isn't an issue than a turntable like an FKS would be great. I've got old turntable rossi's on slalom skis and they're great so I'd assume that the new turntable bindings are just as good...and light.

Don't get STH 16s whatever you do. I had a pair and hated them. You'll have to ski around with a screwdriver to keep tightening up the nose pieces if you do.

This is the truth. I was pretty pissed bc I could have snagged a great deal on tyrolia but instead got the deadbolts
